Sawa Sawa Collective

Relocation Assistastance
The Need: On average, a new refugee Swahili speaking family arrives to NE Wisconsin every week.
The majority of immigrants that Sawa Sawa Collective service are families that come from refugee camps in Africa. They have been displaced from their homes because of different conflicts and violence. They come to the US as legal immigrates.
Sawa Sawa Collective welcome new refugee families and help them settle. Familes can either be coming directly from Africa or secondary migration from another location within the US. What is provided includes the basic needs such as housing, employment, public assistance, and enrolling children in school. Also important is to connect new families to a faith community.
